To his surprise, the world-renowned DJ and producer not only played the track live but also praised its energy and vision.
Nicky highlighted the unique drive of the song, saying it had the kind of fire and festival-ready power he could see igniting a stage. Even more remarkable, he mentioned that he could imagine forwarding the track to Martin Garrix, one of the biggest names in the industry, showcasing the level of potential he saw in the production.
Also present was Jorik Van de Pol, director of Nicky Romero’s label Protocol Recordings, who pointed out how complete and polished the track already sounded — almost as if it was already finished and ready for release. The chemistry between OCHØA’s production and their feedback created a moment of pure inspiration, leaving the impression that “Call You Out” was not just a demo but a track capable of moving massive crowds.
